What’s up with the t-shirts that cnn.com is peddling? If you haven’t seen them, you’re not missing out. Essentially, some web editor either picks out, or specifically writes, headlines that he/she thinks would go GREAT on a t-shirt. Then, for $15.00 cnn.com generously let’s us buy a shirt with that headline on it.
Some recent examples: “Perfect attendance wins girl a car“, “Archbishop takes 13,000-ft. leap of faith“, and “Anderson Cooper, ‘You’re not my boo’“.
Who would anyone wear a t-shirt with the words Anderson Cooper, “You’re not my boo” on it? WTF does that mean anyway? I even saw the Donna Brazile clip that originated the phrase and I still don’t get it. At $15.00 a pop, that’s a lot of green to be laying down for something that will likely end up as one of your “gym shirts”.
